Yes, especially since we are created in the image of God, meaning our soul, like God, is invisible but is our true reality, so loving oneself is loving a reflection of the True One who created us.

I recently performed Debussy’s “Prelude to an Afternoon of a Faun” in an orchestra (on the bass), the first time I had ever played it, and I was almost overwhelmed with the feelings it evoked in me, feelings I can’t even describe. But the piece is so beautiful, it’s hard to be unmoved by it. Many classical pieces are like that for me. How wonderful God has given us the talents and gifts to know so much beautiful music! Meanwhile, I’m going to visit Yellowstone in a month, and I’ll keep your thoughts in mind.
