Transition is more accurate description. It does seem that imagination is usually used in conjunction with vain or idle and superstitions in the Baha’i Writings when speaking of the darker effects. I just wonder if imagination is a neutral faculty that can be good or bad depending on if the lower or higher nature is stronger.

That’s why we pray for forgiveness. And according to the Bahá’í Writings, God is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Compassionate. Also, we’re told we should “bring thyself to account each day…” Seems to me that would include praying for forgiveness if we felt we had done something wrong. I really like to say the Long Obligatory Prayer, which asks for forgiveness any number of times…
