It must have been a challenge belonging to a religion NO ONE had heard of back then. Well, most people hadn’t. They accomplished so much in their lives, and many of them got to meet the Master, something I was never able to do, nor even the Guardian. They were a huge inspiration to the early believers, and thank God for all of them, or we wouldn’t be here today to talk about them. BTW, I did join the Faith early enough to meet quite a few people who had met the Master. One very elderly lady, Lucy Marshall, back in the early 60s, used to come to Feast just glowing some 40 years after she had met Him!

Good model for rich and famous people. The newspapers followed her like the media follows celebrities today

She helped start some of the first international peace and justice organizations in the 1890’s.

This piece will provide a little pandemic consolation to my bride, a lover of the collection of portrayals of heroic Baha’i women called “A Love Which Does Not Wait”. Hers doesn’t, either: she lent the book and it hasn’t returned. Thanks to Ms. Talley for these profiles.
