This pandemic, this impetus to adopt a renewed look at racism, a chance to be aware of climate change, is a challenge and a chance to show constructive resilience and no impatience. Again, thanks.

Every time I read of the early Bahá’í believers’ life experiences, difficulties, and oppression and every time I consider my own “difficulties” in this comfortable abode in which I live and survive – with much more than a ‘handful of flour’ as my daily sustenance, I should add – I think of the oppression and suppression of modern-day Iranian Bahá’í believers in Iran and the strength needed to cope with that and not turn into haters. I wonder just what it was I have done to deserve the grandeur of this modern faith that has such strong believes in God’s Kingdom, who through their past trials, help me cope.
