Hope I had a free translator engine for an entire page. But no matter what, I’ll share this original text on Mewe. Thanks.

As someone who grew up in a household where drinking was part of the day’s activities, at least before dinner and at parties, I was initially surprised at this prohibition, too. I accepted the Faith at age 17, so I had had some alcohol usage before then. But I gave it up entirely, and now, at age 80, I’m so grateful to the Faith’s teachings. I think they saved me from becoming an alcoholic. And let’s face it, if you don’t drink, you can’t become an alcoholic, even if you have a tendency towards that problem. What a bounty to live life sober and determined to always do the right thing, no excuses. It’s worked for me. And by the way, health benefits aside, no one thinks I look my age!
