{"id":76209,"date":"2022-04-07T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-07T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bahaiteachings.org\/?p=76209"},"modified":"2022-04-07T04:43:49","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T11:43:49","slug":"global-conferences-youth-provide-a-hopeful-outlook-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bahaiteachings.org\/global-conferences-youth-provide-a-hopeful-outlook-for-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Conferences: Youth Provide a Hopeful Outlook for the Future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Recent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kgrn2wvd.r.us-west-2.awstrack.me\/L0\/https:%2F%2Fnews.bahai.org%2Fstory%2F1587%2F\/1\/0101017ffbba4410-cb66e711-1a95-4fc3-91c4-a13d679d5964-000000\/YS46XFn-Lk2qChVyhbqF7NZpt7w=266\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stories<\/a>&nbsp;of the News Service have reported on a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kgrn2wvd.r.us-west-2.awstrack.me\/L0\/https:%2F%2Fnews.bahai.org%2Fstory%2F1586%2F\/1\/0101017ffbba4410-cb66e711-1a95-4fc3-91c4-a13d679d5964-000000\/j5uhb0_xY8AsU81oNvRg2SaMt7A=266\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wave<\/a>&nbsp;of conferences bringing together diverse people in localities throughout the world to explore how they will intensify their efforts toward building unity and fostering more peaceful societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the gatherings \u2014 both large and small \u2014 continue, young people in particular are stepping to the fore, offering fresh insights from their experience in Baha\u2019i community-building activities and providing a hopeful outlook for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Croatia, at the conclusion of a local conference titled \u201cThe Betterment of the World,\u201d young participants undertook a social action initiative to beautify a rundown public space because they believe that more beauty in the world inspires peaceful thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile in Bahrain, a conference dedicated to youth enabled participants from different backgrounds to explore a vision for the future of their society based on the principle of the oneness of humanity. \u201cI think we can foster peaceful communities through more dialogue and inclusive discussions, and by serving alongside our fellow citizens,\u201d said one of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Marshall Islands, where youth are spearheading Baha\u2019i educational programs that aim to build capacity for service to humanity, the Minister of Education, Kitlang Kabua, expressed her appreciation for the conferences, stating: \u201cUnity, human welfare, and world solidarity are the pillars of this faith.
